Renaissance, RDIF to invest 13 bln rbl in Russian projects
MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) – The Renaissance group of companies and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) plan to invest about 13 billion rubles in Russia, Avni Akvardar, chairman of the company’s board of directors, told PRIME on Thursday.
“At the beginning of the previous year, we signed an agreement with the Russian Direct Investment Fund, and we are ready to invest almost 13 billion rubles in different projects. Half of the projects is ours, half of the projects are RDIF’s,” he said.
The company plans to focus on infrastructure projects in the sphere of public-private partnership, like construction of roads, tunnels, bridges, and hospitals. It may also include construction of commercial housing and of residential housing to a lesser degree, he said, adding that Renaissance Group may open credits with Russian banks for the projects.
